Meet the Clubs
CITY OF BIRMINGHAM ORIENTEERING CLUB
City of Birmingham Orienteering Club (COBOC) is one of the youngest orienteering clubs in the West Midlands. Their primary aim is to promote orienteering in areas and groups not catered for by the larger "mainstream" clubs in the area. COBOC has worked closely with the Birmingham City Council recreation and education departments and have been successful in promoting orienteering in schools, youth groups, and the inner city areas. Traditional city parks and small areas of urban woodland have been used to bring newcomers to the sport.
